【摘要】:Thisspecificationdescribesonlypreformedtapesealantsforglazingapplications.Theiruseisspecificunderglazingsystemstoserveasawaterandairbarrier.Thetestmethodschosenaretodeterminetheirefficiencyinthisuse.Thisspecificationdoesnotdescribeallrequiredpropertiesofthepreformedtapesealants.Itshouldberecognizedbythepurchaseranddesignprofessionalthatnotallpreformedtapesealantsmeetingthisspecificationaresuitableforallapplications.Insomeinstances,additionalrequirementswillbeagreedtobythesupplieranduser.1.1Thisspecificationdescribespreformedtapesealantsforuseinglazingapplications.Thesematerialsaregenerallyusedtoserveascomponentsofglazingsystems.Theyareintendedtoserveasawaterandairbarrier.1.2Thisspecificationisnotintendedforpreformedfoamtapesealants.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.4ThesubcommitteewithjurisdictionisnotawareofanysimilarISOstandard.1.5Thefollowingprecautionarystatementpertainsonlytothetestmethodsectionofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
