【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulinquantitativelyratingorrankingbothrammingandplasticrefractoriesbytheirlinearstabilityafterheating.Thistestmethodisalsousefulfordeterminingwhetherarammingorplasticrefractorycanbeusedinaspecifiedapplicationbasedonlinearchangecriteria.Thistestmethodexcludesbasicandcarbonbearingmaterials.Thistestmethodcanproducedatafortheengineeringanddesignofrefractoryinstallations.Thelinearchangedatacanbeusedtodeterminethenumberofjointsnecessarytomaintainintegrityoframmingorplasticrefractoryinalargeinstallation.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedryingshrinkageandofthecombineddryingandlinearchangeoframmingandplasticrefractories.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
