【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedasascreeningtooltodeterminethehydrostaticpressuretowhichaliquid-appliedwaterproofingmembranemaybesubjectedwithoutfailingwhenstretchedoveracrackinthesubstrate.Thistestmethoddiscriminatesbetweenamembranethatisveryresistanttohydrostaticpressureandonethatisnot.Becauseofthevariabilityinherentinthistestmethod,itisnotrecommendedthatthistestmethodbeusedtosetanumericalstandardforhydrostaticpressureresistance.Nopredictionofdurabilityatlowerhydrostaticpressurescanbemadewhenusingtheresultsofthistestmethod.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesalaboratoryprocedurefordeterminingtheresistanceofawaterproofingmembranetohydrostaticpressure.1.2Thecommitteewithjurisdictionoverthisstandardisnotawareofanycomparablestandardspublishedbyotherorganizations.1.3TherearenoISOstandardssimilarorequivalenttothisASTMstandard.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoinch-poundunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
