【摘要】:TheCDIFfamilyofInternationalStandardsisprimarilydesignedtobeusedasadescriptionofamechanismfortransferringinformationbetweenmodellingtools.ItfacilitatesasuccessfultransferwhentheauthorsoftheimportingandexportingtoolshavenothingincommonexceptanagreementtoconformtoCDIF.Thelanguagethatisdefinedforthetransferformatalsohasapplicabilityasagenerallanguageforimport/exportfromrepositories.TheCDIFsemanticmetamodeldefinedforCASEalsohasapplicabilityasthebasisofstandarddefinitionsforuseinrepositories.TheInternationalStandardswhichformthecompletefamilyofCDIFstandardsaredocumentedinISO/IEC15474-1.TheseInternationalStandardscovertheoverallframework,thetransferformatandtheCDIFsemanticmetamodel.ThisInternationalStandarddefinestheportionoftheCDIFsemanticmetamodelthatsupportsgeneralDataModelling.ThisincludesEntity-Relationship-AttributeModellingaswellasLogicalDatabaseDesign.
