【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversagaschromatographicprocedureforthequantitativedeterminationoforganicoxygenatedcompoundsingasolinehavingafinalboilingpointnotgreaterthan220?Candoxygenateshavingaboilingpointlimitof130?C.Itisapplicablewhenoxygenatesarepresentinthe0.1to20%bymassrange.Thistestmethodisintendedtodeterminethemassconcentrationofeachoxygenatecompoundpresentinagasoline.Thisrequiresknowledgeoftheidentityofeachoxygenatebeingdetermined(forcalibrationpurposes).However,theoxygen-selectivedetectorusedinthistestmethodexhibitsaresponsethatisproportionaltothemassofoxygen.Itis,therefore,possibletodeterminethemassconcentrationofoxygencontributedbyanyoxygenatecompoundinthesample,whetherornotitisidentified.Totaloxygencontentinagasolinemaybedeterminedfromthesummationoftheaccuratelydeterminedindividualoxygenatedcompounds.Thesummedareaofother,uncalibratedorunknownoxygenatedcompoundspresent,maybeconvertedtoamassconcentrationofoxygenandsummedwiththeoxygenconcentrationoftheknownoxygenatedcompounds.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
